Translation Draft

We will continue with some details related to working with the cards presented and what I will present (for a few other posts from now on). And, I will begin with the presentation of what the change of perceptual perspective can offer you (with particular reference to anchor sheets where we have only related to the perceptions of the senses reflected in the anchors and then in the behavioral reflexes related to them).

As is well known, many situations in human life, at first sight, seem to make us cry rather than rejoice: failures, the loss of a loved one, disappointments, diseases and many other blows of fate, greater or small. Now comes my boring "bomb": if you learn to change your perspective, to see things from a totally new, often unusual angle, you will always find new, extremely important ways of understanding that can change your life for the better. You've heard this so many times, it's so many times that we overlook and put quotes on the term bomb.

But perhaps, if you look at things more closely, you will notice that your suffering was not caused by the one you thought was appropriate at the first moment but by something else. Because this is how you discovered the true root of evil, you can act in such a way that in the future you will go much better and you will not waste your energy with the simple healing of the symptoms. Or, after examining a problem from another perspective, you'll notice that, after all, it has far fewer negative influences on you than you originally thought, and that it may also have positive effects. It would be a shame if, because of inattention or lack of knowledge, you lost some of these gifts and could not contribute to the enrichment of your own life.

For the purposes of the analysis mentioned above, there are many techniques but, so far, we have found that the most accessible techniques are those offered by NLP/SNLP. So, in a very long post (today's one) I will present the techniques that come out of NLP/ SNLP, called by me filters of systematic reinterpretation (there may be other authors who call them that, but I have never encountered this name before). These filters can be assimilated with the term site, by which we sift to filter certain elements of our lives and, by assimilation, they are also called site for washing gold, the values of our lives. But let's get to work!

In principle there are two different methods that can be applied:

Context – Reframing/reframing.

It's about finding meaning, by placing a certain behavior or an object in the context in which it's unappreciated or unused, in another where it's needed (urgently or not). For example, a young man has a propensity for competition and adrenaline. If he let life push him into office work, it wouldn't bring him much satisfaction. But if he becomes a professional sportsman, for example in the "moto" field, he can satisfy his passion, earn money from it and get the appreciation of others. Or, at least, become a kind of hobby that satisfies its essential requirements. All you have to do is look a little and be open to unconventional resolutions.
Interpretation – Interpretative Reframing.

It is about finding the meaning of an event or object by searching for the most appropriate explanation or attitude (what is the place of this puzzle piece in the general context?). For this it is necessary to separate the external attitude of an individual from his intentions. If the two elements are seen as a unit it will open the door to confusion and prejudice. Who knows exactly why a man behaves this way? Perhaps the following example will shed some light on... A student is late for class, and everything becomes almost a habit. A teacher, more irritated, more tired (or something similar) gives him a big mess because he can no longer bear for this student to be late for his class.

So, interpretation 1 – a lazy, uncaring student, etc. and, one day, perhaps even the next, he reads in the newspaper a story about a student who cared for about 10 elderly families, unable to move, to solve their daily problems, which is why he was decorated and rewarded by a famous charity institution. At the next hour, the teacher, without asking for details, tells him that his opinion has not changed and that our student only needs to organize, to do what he does after school hours, and he must observe his classes.

So, interpretation 2 – careless, unorganized student, etc. Journalists, aroused by our student's charity gesture, investigate the case and learn that he, after school, worked until late at night at several workstations to earn the money necessary for the existence of the large family of which he was a member. Hero, disadvantaged of fate, etc., journalistic interpretations were multiple. But it matters what our teacher does, doesn't it? From certain feelings of guilt, or something, the professor just embarrasses him with... interpretation 3 – lack of communication. Time passes quickly and, in that locality, a scout-like movement appears, which has as its main activity help. That movement was named after the student and became so famous that it expanded its activity not only to the care of the disadvantaged but also to the environment and others, far exceeding the boundaries of the locality (as a manifestation). The teacher has nothing to do but be aware of journalists' remarks.

So, interpretation 4 – hero. And finally, surprise, our student ends up completing several "higher studies", then "masters", earning a lot of money with which to "strengthen" the existing foundation and devote his entire life to his "occupations" in childhood, every day of his life being represented by the struggle for the good of the community. So our teacher, proud of his former student, comes to some kind of final point of view. So interpretation 5 – OM. So one and the same behavior can be valued completely differently, depending on the frame information that is used for appreciation after the reference point.

On this subject, an ancient spiritual saying says: "No one knows the truth. We can all consider a part of it, the one that is visible from our point of view." But we can learn to change our point of view and thus understand reality more and more. This change of perspective can be systematically addressed according to precise criteria. To do this, We will further analyse the filters deriving from the two fundamental paths outlined above, as well as how we can use them in practice. Essentially it is a subjective sensory perception, which is true at the moment for someone that can be silly for another. Get to work!

Filter 1 – Generalization.

Question: Was your reaction to a certain experience really provoked by it, or were you behaving in the same way in other contexts, and this experience was just one of the many triggers? It's about the anchors we've been trying to detect.

Example: You didn't feel so good the whole day, but you didn't notice it because you had so much work to do, so your attention never turned to you. Then something small goes wrong, or someone doesn't react to you as you expect (of course, just because of that), you explode or you retire totally indisposed. But if you notice, with the help of this filter, that all the upsets of the last time have the same origin, this can help you see more clearly the situation and see the significance of this event in its true size. Identify the primary feeling that torments you, even frustration or depression and take action!

Note: You're making a mosquito out of a stallion again when you have to make elephant mice.

Filter 2 – Take responsibility for your own state of mind.

Question: What can you do in a pressing situation so that you can feel much better as quickly as possible?

Example: At the last minute, your friend canceled a date and you're very sad because you would have liked to meet him. Instead of focusing on anger and getting into an increasingly miserable mood, think about how you can get yourself out of the swamp of bad mood. So, what could you do, what could you do to make yourself feel better as soon as possible?
Keep in mind: Do everything you can to make yourself feel better.

Filter 3 – Setting priorities.

Question: What is really important to you in this context?

Example: In a catalog you found several tempting holiday goals and now you get angry because you can't decide on one of them. Instead of giving up and throwing the catalog in a corner, get something to write and put together a list of what's really important to you during a vacation party. If you've written everything down, give each goal scores from 1 to 5. The things you can't give up at any price, they're going to get a five, the nice things you like, but you don't necessarily need, they're going to get a four, which is superfluous, but you don't mind, they're going to get three points, which is indifferent to you. According to this table you will be able to choose something that suits you, depending on the maximum score.

Note: You can only find happiness when you know exactly what you want.

Filter 4 – Positive effects.

Question: Is there any positive effect this situation could have on you?

Example: So far you have had a well-paid service and have been involved in the business's work much more than your work schedule. Due to the accumulated stress, you have the eartos under your eyes. The good physical condition you had in your youth, you don't remember or remember the photos from your youth that you took when you were still playing a sport, and because of your nervousness you can only take a certain kind of food. Then, without any kind of foreboding, the company that hired you goes bankrupt and you're forced to do some time without a job.

After you've passed your first few days as unemployed, in a state of shock, you may soon notice that inactivity can also be beneficial. You started sleeping well, meeting friends who already thought you were dead, rediscovering your interest in dance and the opposite sex, because you finally have time for that. In short, after all, catastrophe can also give you some good things. This is a way of acting, consideration is better than you could imagine. This type of conflict is more powerful than you would imagine and can cause serious, often irreparable conditions (see previous posts related to the representative conflicts of the new medicine).

Note: If you run into something that looks like a catastrophe, pay attention to the wonderful possibilities that may come to you because of it.

Filter 5 – Harmonization of the goal with the individual.

Question: Can you use what you are doing now to achieve a specific goal and to achieve another goal, more appropriate to your current possibilities and needs?

Examples: You play as a semi-professional in a football team. You don't play bad, but you don't play well enough to make a professional career, although you have a lot of experience. At some point, you'll notice that you can't keep playing but you can use your current knowledge and relationships to start a successful career as a sports reporter. If you had continued to try to fight against its physical limitations, you would have ruined your health very soon, and instead of success, disappointment would have arisen.

Note: Everything you do, and all the things you relate to, can be used to achieve multiple goals.

Filter 6 – Deepening learning possibilities.

Question: How can you learn as much as possible from an experience?

Example: You are a student at an economic college and, like many other students, you work as a help in several restaurants to enrich your financial situation. Instead of just doing the service and raising money, you open your eyes and ears and find out what possibilities this industry offers, but also what problems it has. Once you have completed your theoretical studies, you can get the position of head of a large restaurant, which will hire as a priority a man like you, with specialized studies but also with a great practical experience. While most of your former colleagues still live on unemployment benefits or casual jobs, you've already found a good job because you understand to capitalize on your experiences in a wider range of ways.

Note: Carefully use all your experiences until you have achieved everything that can be useful to you.
That's enough for today! We continue tomorrow with these filters (which are 14 or 15 in total). Thanks for understanding!

Love, Gratitude and Understanding (Namaste)!!!
