Be careful! To understand some references to "wounds" and what they attract under the identification title "masks" it is necessary to go through previous posts (at least those related to childhood).

It is the moment when each individual begins to perceive the first important changes of the body which, from this period, begins to operate at "increased speed"... It is the moment when the child in each of us begins to notice the transformations (necessary or not) into a small adult... Perhaps, therefore, this period can be called the adult period of childhood.

Now all the adaptive sedimentations of the spirit and the new individual are beginning to manifest and take shape under the general pressures of the environment, of persons foreign to the "starting" group in which the child was framed, from the idea of procreation of it (of course from the level of its parents) to the entry into puberty.

In terms of periods of deployment, everything is delineated by the time of entry into puberty. Medical and demographic studies have revealed that the age of entry into puberty varies from 11-12 years to 16-17 years (some studies lead this moment even to the age of 18 years or more)...

But they also revealed that the entry into puberty varies due to the environment, being a response to the environment and its actions. First, what is visible and "impressive", directly derived from these studies, is that puberty depends heavily on... Food...

Yes, you read well (as long as we exclude the "pathological" elements that can intervene). It is not a "curve of mimicry", "social jalons" or other nonsense, but simply food (of course, alongside existing programs in genotype)...

Thus, it was found that in countries where meat consumption is reduced (the "maximum-minimum" intake being 15% or less), for both boys and girls, the onset of puberty occurs at "later" ages that go as far as the "weird" 18 years... The more access to animal products (especially meat in developed countries - meat consumption increases to 85% of total food intake) the lower the onset of puberty will be diminished (sometimes even at the age of 10 years)...

Perhaps from here, a form of puberty classified by some medical sources as "early puberty" (often having "annexed" the stigma "pathology") occurs especially in children with obesity...

From a medical point of view, puberty begins when the hypothalamus begins to secrete gonadotropic release hormones (GnRH - gonadotropin) based on the activation of a specific gene (GPR54). Technically, the process begins under the action of a hormone called leptin that is produced in fat cells (adipocytes, etc.) based on a balance between leptin and blood fat levels. a certain level of this hormone stimulating the release of GnRH and thus the pituitary gland (mother of all glands) begins to release other hormones (gonadotropic hormones: FSH - follicle-stimulating hormone and HL - luteinized hormone). Once these substances circulate through the body begin the physical changes characteristic of this period and childhood is "officially closed"...

I will not "stun" you now with the five stages of development of puberty (Tanner stages) but I will just specify that this period, of puberty, appears more "early" in girls, where the changes are visible and... some really essential stuff, like...

External (perceptible), for little girls, things are simple. Puberty begins with the first menstrual cycle, called menarche. All this takes place especially under the control of FSH which is "responsible" for controlling the menstrual cycle and maturing the ovarian follicles (the level of this hormone varies over the course of a menstrual cycle and reaches maximum levels just before the release of the egg, ovulation).

It is the moment when it is evident the change of hormonal weights in the body (referring not only to sex hormones - estrogen, progesterone and testosterone), breasts begin to develop, pubic and axishair hair appears, etc.

Characteristic of this period is the explosion of height growth that can reach a share of up to 50% of that of an adult, with the specificity that the first menstrual cycle coincides with a major growth period of about 6 months. In boys, only hair-related (including facial) things appear, various changes in the breasts and voice change, FSH having a specific role in sperm production, the amount of hormone remaining constant after the onset of puberty...

During puberty, the mind has a development similar to that of the body, i.e. explosive (it is right, much more pronounced in little girls). Now there is a shift, more or less perceptible, depending on the individual and his "social insertions" from carefree childhood to a period when responsibility arises and, above all, the deepening of existing "wounds".

On the other hand, the loss of childhood innocence is replaced by the development of a spirit capable of processing deep thoughts and abstract concepts and, especially in girls, begins the search and choice of the new identity (search that begins long before their bodies stop from the evolution characteristic of the adult period). Self-awareness increases and can be confused by those around you with an obsession with one's own person.

Now, many of the lessons and beliefs passed down by parents as indisputable truths throughout the period of childhood now appear as unjust and without a healthy logic, puberty offering the perfect opportunity to go through a mental filter of the parents' own system of values, and to rearrange this system according to the individual's own vision.

However, we have here a specific "something", induced by differences in temporal occurrence or the development of the small adult compared to those of the same age, present around them. Now, depending on the development of each, the first perceptions "with which" children can feel different from their peers appear.

This can lead to social and emotional problems such as low self-esteem (personal devaluation, including self-deprecation) that will lead to the accentuation of existing wounds as well as the formation of others, with the first essential changes of the masks worn by the individual located at this time.

In addition, with regard to the evolution of the individual's wounds, now the clearest developments appear to the abnormal reactions of the environment on the individual, with reference to mistreatment of any kind, abandonment, etc. (to talk about this in childhood was impossible to me - angels must remain angels regardless of the hell where they were sent by fate - remember that each of us chose the environment , and implicitly the people, where he thought he would practice as best he could to heal his wounds "at his disposal").

Here I could insert some "problems" of major importance. Excluding deviant behaviours of the environment on the puber (because I will debate at length about them in adult wounds), referring to ill-treatment and other forms of aggression (which wreak havoc that go as far as "injuries" impossible to heal later), the greatest influence on the individual is the abandonment of any form or amplitude.

It attracts delays in somatic or mental development that go as far as stopping evolution, poor health (manifestation of various diseases, permanent fatigue, etc.), various regressions (loss of already accumulated abilities), latent mental disorders (deviant and assimilated behaviors) but which will show their "corners of permanence", etc.

In addition, abandonment entails the possibility of psychological abuse either on the part of the parents or from the environment (the largest weight). Psychological abuse is behaviours that attract psychological harm to the child such as insults, insults or failure to provide a supportive environment.

The emotional pain caused by this type of abuse can be devastating and manifests itself in: low interest in what is going on around the individual including loss of interest in experiencing new experiences or activities (negativity), inadequate response to pain, suffering, etc. (emotional detachment) to other people or changes in the environment, avoidance of the parent or caregiver , excessive emotional reactions (impulsivity, fear, anger, defiance, depression, anxiety, antisocial behaviours, etc.) that can go as far as self-harm or similar, low school or "environmental" performance, etc., and, last but not least, substance abuse (alcohol, etc.) and sexual problems or related to the manifestation of sexuality...

Would a presentation of the "risk factors" in the "modeling" that occurs in puberty have been necessary? I certainly don't. Each of us has chosen the place, the people, the environment in which it will be born and evolve. So we can't make any more comments like... "Living in poverty or on the edge of poverty is a major risk factor" (Even if it becomes something all-present in our times - where adequate care cannot be provided, where stress arises from the earliest ages and, above all, it remains devastatingly disrupting any "shadow of evolution", where the specific mental and physiological needs of each individual cannot be "assured") , "Parents or the person without work, alone and inexperienced, who attract substance abuse, housing or shelter that cannot provide a minimum support for normal activities", "The history of those around the person includes a low control of impulses with violent manifestations, domestic violence or abuse of the person" or others...

And, there's something else... Those who have read the previous posts can remember the permanent adaptation (modification) of the energies at the water level (which constitutes more than 70% of our body) manifested by its structure. Then they can remember the permanent adaptation (modification) of the genetic support that exists in each of us.

Why do They remember these? A long-term action of perceptions, beliefs, of the individual attracts long-lasting, even permanent changes at their level. Now, in puberty, the sexual individualization of each of us is achieved.

Do you think that the effects of a "malpotential" can be "kept in check" easily by the self-awareness that we will develop as adults (where appropriate, of course)? From my point of view (and not only) it is a truly crucial period in the development of the individual. Now, more than ever, the individual must be trained towards "something of quality" to complete the support of the entry into the true childhood of the adult, that of adolescence...

Finally, I find myself having to point out that many doctors, psychologists or other people who devote their time to the study of puberty realize different "frames" of it, so that it loses its definitional delimitation by me as the "adult" period of childhood, often overlapping it with the adolescent's developments or invusing it in the developments of childhood. Either way it is a period of transition of relative importance.

So, I will quickly get over it (at least now) and, if necessary, I will achieve additional posts to this "chapter" of analysis...

Restful and rewarding weekend!!!
